Troubleshooting Tips for HP CB390A Toner
- Print is too light or faded: Remove the cartridge and gently rock it back and forth to redistribute the toner. Ensure all protective tape has been removed.
- Streaks or lines on pages: Run the printer's cleaning cycle from the settings menu. Check that the drum unit is clean.
- Printer does not recognize the cartridge: Turn off the printer for 30 seconds, then restart. Remove and reinstall the cartridge firmly.
- Toner leaking: Ensure the cartridge is properly sealed and not damaged. Check you are using the correct cartridge model.
- Uneven print quality: Check paper type settings. Run printer calibration from the maintenance menu.
- Non-HP cartridge message: Press OK or Continue on your printer. This does not affect print quality.
